Foi divulgada a listas das indicadas ao prêmio Video Music Awards, o VMA, organizada pela MTV Americana.

Os destaques vão para Adele, Bruno Mars e Katy Perry que concorrem a grande maioria das premiações, assim como o Eminem, com "Love the Way You Lie" concorre a maioria dos prêmios tecnicos.

Uma das categorias que sempre chamam a atenção nas premiações é a de revelação musical, aqui o Best New Artist conta com alguns improváveis nomes e talvez até desconhecidos de vocês que leêm aqui, mas um nome que passa a lembra é a de Wiz Khalifa que com a cação "Black and Yellow" conseguiu ser topo da Billboard Hot 100.
